The Lakes Bracciano and Vico North of Rome

Bracciano and Martignano Lakes

Located approxitaely 30 kms from Rome, following the roman roads of Cassia and the pilgrim trail of the Via Francingena brings us to the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano.

Cycling the Bracciano lake and Woods – An ideal day trip from Rome by train, arriving at Anguillara. From where you can bike to the first smaller lake using back roads and gravel roads to reach the lake.

Cycling around the Lake Bracciano – Through the woods to the other towns such as oriolo and Sutri. More suitable for off.road mountain bikers.

lago di Vico and Monte Cimini – Another fantastic area for some real biking action. Plenty of off road trails that have some downhill sections. A real adventure for biking enthusiasts.
