Assail the Aventine Hill to have a view from the Garden of the Oranges, overlooking downtown Rome and a quick peek through the Keyhole of Rome.
Lets Explore Trastevere and its medieval origins as we cycle though cobbled alleys and little side streets, weaving our way under arches until we reach a local bar for a roman aperitif.
Pass the main squares of Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon before arriving at Piazza del Popolo.
Cycle to the top of the Pincio hill through the Borghese Gardens for
Overlook the Circus Maximus from the Aventine Hill, with the Palace of the Emperors in the background. At the top is the Garden of the Oranges and the Keyhole of the Order of Malta.
Below near the river is the medievil quarter known for its food and night life. A quick ride down to the island brings us to this charming neighborhood. Pass by the main square of Santa Maria in Trastevere with its synonymous church.
Pass through the main square of Piazza Navona as well as the Pantheon and Via del Corso alll the way to Piazza del Popolo. Passing out of the roman gate Porta Flaminio takes out of the roman walls.
Leading up through the gates of the Villa Borghese is a tree lined road, taking us into the gardens of this nobile family. From the balcony overlooking the Vatican and Borgo Pio, we can admire the sunsetting behind the Dome of St. Peters.
On our way back to the Colosseum we pass the Spanish Steps, coming down from the Borghese Gardens. Further along the way we come to the Trevi Fountain until eventually arrive at Piazza Venezia with its ominous monument to Italy.
