An Italian Tradition
Towards the end of Septembre and through out October, many italian families take to the trees with rakes and nets to collect the olives that grow on their land before they fall. This allows them to produce olive oil of the finest quality with a superiore taste, something you would never find in supermarkets or even the best deli’s as Italians would never sell their hand picked olive oil!
You can however join us on a bike tour of the Tuscia Region to get a taste of rural italy complete with an overnight stay in a medievil villages. Cycle along Gravel Roads between Rome and Viterbo staying at Agriturismos, sampling the local italian products of the area.
