An Italian Tradition
Join us on a bike tour of the Tuscia Region (north of Rome) to get a taste of rural Italy complete with an overnight stay in an agriturismo. Cycle along Gravel Roads between Rome and Viterbo, sampling the local italian products of the area. Spend the day in Viterbo relaxing in the thermal baths before returning to Rome by train.
Using the Via Francigena to guide us away from the traffic and along a pilgim trail that runs through woodlands, we can enjoy an exciting itinerary between the foothills of the collapsed volcanoes that have filled with water forming lake Bracciano and Lake Vico.
Cycling between these 2 lakes brings us into close contact with a huge variety of fauna and flora as we wind our way to the main city Viterbo.
Stay overnight in an agriturismo located in the woods above Viterbo before reaching the city and exploring its medieval origins. Following the Via Francigena we will make an extra stop at one of Viterbos thermal baths before departing for the main station and returning to Rome.
